Massive retail center coming to West Sand Lake Rd

Developer Thomas Enterprises Inc. plans to build at least 850,000 square feet of retail space on West Sand Lake Road. The shopping center, named The Pavillion at Sand Lake, will be designed as an outdoor power center with two or three major anchors of about 120,000 square feet each. Potential tenants would include large retailers, restaurants and small retail/service shops. The project will be located just east of the Kirkman Road/Sand Lake Road Intersection across from the Tangelo Park neighborhood.
